JC Hyke is a songwriter who runs a weekly show at this restaurant in Arcadia, CA, featuring other songwriter acts. It's a nice vibe venue, and very supportive to songwriters. JC asks that one of the four songs that you play is a cover (song penned by someone other than yourself) and the other three original. Earl Grey and I (Piper-Grey) played there thus past Tuesday (7-12-16) and played the following songs: "Wind Up Clock", "Ioway" and "Open Sails", Piper-Grey. Wild Horses (Jagger/Richards/Parsons) was the cover tune we performed. Truly a nice evening with many excellent performances.
