The Single Wing and a Prayer

"The Single Wing and a Prayer", by Keith Piper and David Piper (PipersWing Music, 2013) is a book I finished that my Dad started in 1979. He was football coach at Denison University in Granville, Ohio, from 1954-1992 with a record of 200 wins, against 142 losses and 19 ties. He ran the single wing offense for 18 of those 39 years and he describes that offense in this book. I added dozens of anecdotes from players who played for him and coaches who coached with and against him. There are over 300 photographs, and an accompanying DVD that features an interview with Dad in 1989 and footage of many of his teams in action.
